Chemo brain

Do you know that appliances work a lot better whenever they are plugged in?

Glad I was home alone.

    Ha! Glad I'm Not Alone
Last weekend, I went to a crowded book sale at our local library with my son's gf. We were separated by several feet, and she had to nearly shout to me. She was asking me to look for a couple types of book for her while she hovered in an alcove, protecting my five month old grandson in his carrier. The hand gesture I MEANT to make was one where you make a circle of your thumb and forefinger, and let the other three fingers separate naturally while pointing up - the "OK" sign. after gazing at the back of my hand for a moment (the game plan for forming the "OK" wasn't processing correctly for me), I turned my hand around kinda slowly, looked at my curved fingers - then, sadly, instead of making the circle and raising three fingers, I bent three fingers down, and raised only one - the one that most certainly does NOT stand for "OK" - in a crowded library public room. Oops. I was kinda horrified and amused at the same time.

Radiation brain. Or maybe lack of sleep brain.
I recently put a pot of water on the stove to boil the other day. Did you know that it boils a heck of a lot faster when you turn the burner on? 8-/
