Congrats 'nita, my own 4 month CT done yesterday showed no new activity and no changes, so I'm still stable and in remission... next scan far away at a new 6 months. Can I have the next dance?

Its so wonderful to read a positive post like that. So will you stay on the Tarceva, or did you already stop? Definitely reason to celebrate!!

Thank you all for your kind words of support and well wishes. I have always felt a victory for one of us is a victory for all of us. Likewise when things go wrong with one of our group, it sets me back a bit and I pull away from the site and lurk instead of participating. Dan - I can't wait to hear your good news! Sandblaster, one does not typically stop Tarceva. You take it until it quits you (cells build up a resistance to it) or in some cases it makes you too ill from the side effects. Some people have been on Tarceva for 6+ years. I am hoping it will work for me that long, or longer!

We love to hear the good news!

I see your post about Tarceva, which will my husband will begin if the cancer returns, and I know the results can be significant and long-lasting. University Colorado Hospital and several other places are running clinical trials on drugs post-Tarceva, too--so there's even a Plan B for when you need it (and we hope you're in the 6+ years group).

My lung tumor showed positive for the mutation and the plan for me is to get on Tarceva.
But I don't know when it will happen. I hope I have the great results you are having.
Wishing you many blessings. Fran
