Just got the call...my sister is doing well. She came home from the hospital yesterday, no nausea after the procedure. Both sides sentinel nodes removed, she will learn in a week what the path is from that...but she said that the surgeon said there were 'no surprises' during either procedure.

SO, thank you, my sisters in pink...your prayers were obviously heard!!! WHEW!!!

Hopefully, it will only be radiation and then she's on to 5 years of hormone treatment...

I'm dancing right now!!!!

Dutch hugs, Kathi

No Surprises is always good to hear!
    Kathi,

I was happy to read your post. I hope the path report will be good and your sister's journey an easy one. I found rads easier than chemo and hormonal therapy is certainly doable.

Best to you and your sis.

    Good news .. indeed! NO
surprises, or hiccups -- with her surgery. I will continue to prayer for her, as waiting
for path report at times, can send one over the edge of reason and sanity.

Keeping my fingers, and toes crossed.

    Strength, Courage and Hope.

Kathi - glad your sis is doing better
but how did I miss this?? I had no idea your sister was
diagnosed... sheeesh, you certainly had your share of
dealing with this terrible illness. Now your sister can
benefit from all your experience and I know you will be
a great source of inspiration for her. All the best to
    you lovely sisters.

My sis is such a copier!!!
Our mom had endometrial followed by breast cancer.

Then I had my two...rectal followed by breast cancer.

Then 2 years after me, my sister had anal cancer, now, 2 years later, she is battling again......with breast cancer.

I guess we Campbell (my maiden name) women like taking the '2-fer'...*smile*

Thank you, Ayse, for your kind words of encouragement!
