Update

I thought that I would update for anyone still paying attention. The good news: no cancer news. I'm due for a 6 month mammo but I don't have insurance so I need to fix that first.

It is interesting as always. When we last left you dear reader, we were on the Navajo reservation in NM. Now my husband, myself and the 3 cats pictured live in a 33' fifth wheel in Denver CO. We moved from a 3 bedroom place-need I say more there? I have changed jobs--this is a 13 week assignment and this is what *I* want. In the process of living and _stuff_ I had half my thyroid removed in July, broke my foot in November, packed, moved, and changed jobs. We are in this place to spoil the 6 year old granddaughter rotten and have my hubby look into bariatric surgery (HE has insurance).

It's snowing and these old bones and joints don't like the cold so I'm thinking TX or AZ for the next assignment. But we are happy and healthy.

Maureen

    Good news
Good news you are cancer free and no mammo for 6 months.I'm having my mammo in January. It will be 2 1/2 years.A benign tumor was found in July(2 year check up) so will see what is going on with that.Doctor said it is fine for now. No lumpectomy.

I'm with you.I'm sick of the cold.Winter is finally hitting us.Temps are in the 30's but the evenings are so cold.I can take the daytime but as temps drop in the evening I'm ready for spring.

My husband says he is retiring in April. We would like to travel BUT we have pets.I could board the cats but our dogs are big babies. We take the one dog everywhere we go but doctor appt etc. Just say Bye Bye and he tilts his head. He is ready to go. We adopted him on Black Friday.Black dogs 1/2 off. No Christmas shopping for us. We preferred getting a dog.
