Writing a Eulogy for my Sister in Law

I am sitting here trying to write a Eulogy for my Sister in Law that was taken from us with Sarcoma Cancer. It dosen't matter what kind of cancer they are all so bad. She battled her cancer just over 2 years and was there for me for the last year on my cancer journey. I will probably be here for another 2 hours trying to write this Eulogy for her service. Sometimes these seem to come easy for me but this one is very hard to write.I have never had a problem getting up and speaking, I just put it in the Lord's hands to get me through it. The memorial service is tomorrow at 11:00 am so I had better get busy. Night all and Hugs from me. Sharon

    HUGS, SHARON
Unfortunately, I've been in the same position several times. It's difficult, but I found that sharing some memorable moments that I had with the individual keeps it lighthearted, but also gives everyone more insight as to who this loved one really is. At my mother's funeral, I shared a few comical moments, and it made everyone laugh, and actually initiated some memories of their own. I certainly had serious moments as well, but my written eulogy ended up becoming 'off-the-cuff', and I hardly read what I had written. It just started flowing naturally.

Love, hugs and prayers to you Sharon. You will find the words of comfort for everyone, including yourself.

    HOW WAS THE EULOGY?
Just wondering how this worked for you, Sharon. I know it must have been very difficult. Hoping you have some comfort and peace through all of this.

    Dear Susan
Cancer is an unfair beast no matter what form it comes in. I'm so sorry for your loss.

    It was great
Everyone said I did a great job. Somehow when I prepare to do a speech at a funeral I always take God with me and he gives me strength. Thanks for asking Monika hugs Sharon
