Clinics in Germany

HI folks,
My partner has completed his first round of chemo/radio and is Stage 4. we are interested in some of the treatment being offered in Germany, as it seems to combine traditional approaches with some more experimental modes. Of course this is not a cheap option and it seems that success is anecdotal...no published stats! Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with German clinics or know of anyone who has? James is due for another round of chemo in a week or so, and then re-testing in a couple of weeks. Frankly im feeling sick about that round of tests! James is finding it quite difficult to eat and is constantly hungry. All very streessful as i know you can appreciate!

    Germany
    Hi Steve,
When my husband was first diagnosed, our daughter did a ton of research and one of the things she came up with was a program in Germany. After further investigation however, we determined that it was a very expensive plan that probably wouldn't make much difference overall. We did see a Doctor here who specializes in treating cancers with nutrition and supplements. Believe me, we tried everything we could so in the end we wouldn't be questioning ourselves as to what we coulda shoulda woulda tried. I wish you all the best.
    Hugs to you
    Rita

    We All Grasp
Steve, as an EC stage IV patient I can assure you that all of us have looked for the miracle cure but unfortunately there aren't any magic bullets. EC is a difficult cancer to deal with and there are not, to date, any real great cure rates. As you continue to research and learn, be skeptical of anything that has no scientific backup and anything that has not been published in a respected journal. If this disease was manageable with diet, exercise and vitamins we would not be loosing thousands to it each year. Sorry if I sound harsh, but as one who is living with this, I have become frustrated with claims of an easy cure. Buddy, there ain't one. Good luck and prayers, Sam

    Thanks
    HI all,
Thanks Sam and others for your thoughts and information. I just wonder who if anyone survives on any treatment regime longer that the majical '5 years'. You read so much about this or that treatment being 'promising' or showing 'good results'....but so few real (actual) longevity success stories! Sorry if this post is not very positive.
