Lee's passing away is such a moment of sorrow for all of us. This post is just to remember lee and request everyone to state one characteristics of LEE by which they will always remember lee for life.

To Start with me..... I remember Lee for his spirit for life and his energy. He through his post would spread that joy and energy in a mischievous way.

Will always remember you Lee...

I will remember Lee for his lighthearted banter he had with Eric and his cajoling of the use of CAPITAL LETTERS.
RIP Lee.

I will remember Lee for the honesty and humor in his posts. I actually came across Lee in his Yurbo blog and when he stopped posting there frequently I googled his name and that is how I came to this board. I printed out all his posts for my dad off his Yurbo blog and once I came to this board, I would always tell my dad "Well Lee says....". I don't post much but I keep up with everyones story behind the scenes. My thoughts and prayers are with you Chantel. I didn't lose a spouse but I am still heartbroken over the loss of my dad last month.

I'll always chuckle over the thread he started about "What caused your EC?". The thread went on a bit and he added a commonality to all who have EC: That they are extremely good-looking. I still grin to think of that post.

All of Lee's posts were filled with a very apparent joy in his life. You could tell he was quite happy with his place in the world. You could also tell that he felt surrounded by love. and his love for Chantal - Very Apparent! :)

I smile when I think about the wedding video. Only a fun loving guy that is also a bit of a nut could have put that together. What a treasure for you, Chantal!

Thank you for sharing him with us.

I remember Lee for his honesty and concern for others. It takes a lot of courage to face the unavoidable, be honest and open about it. It takes a lot of strength to be so supportive of others in this situation.

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for your words of support and love during this most difficult time.

If I may share a bit about Lee, he was so very funny, you may have noticed his wacky sense of humour in his posts, but truly, this disease stole a lot of his true love of laughter. He made me laugh until I cried so many times I can't even count. He was generous to a fault, and donated to the local food bank, donated plasma over 60 times, and loved to meet people and truly get to know everyone he came in contact with. He was always the first one at a party to single out the wall flowers, and make them feel special.

His talent for art was spectacular, he spent much of his life doing free lance graphic design, and I'll provide his you tube link if anyone wants to see a peek of his work. He always called his art 'doodles', but you will see, they were much more than that!

Lee worked at our local college, doing computer support in the arts department, and he loved his job, loved the staff and was always so happy to help the students with their mac problems. He took great pride in his work, and in everything that he did. He was a computer geek, and proud of it.

Lee posted about his love for our dog Daisy, he was so sweet to her, they were like two peas in a pod, and loved to play in the back yard, go for walks and nap on the couch together. It was wonderful to see how adorable they were together. Poor Daisy sits on the back of the couch overlooking the front door, and just stares at the door for hours on end. It breaks my heart to pieces, and I keep telling her that her Daddy is watching over us now.

I loved Lee with all my heart, and will continue loving him until the day I die. He was stolen from me way too soon, we were only married a little over a year and a half, but spent over 7 years together. We had grand plans for our life, and now, EC has ripped them away from me. I hate this disease and everything it has brought into my life, and all of your lives as well.

I have been busy with planning, visitors and of course trying to keep myself together. I do plan to continue on here, and hopefully I can help someone, anyone to get through this.

Be well, my friends,
Love
Chantal

Chantal, what a beautiful post to Lee. He certainly enriched so many people's lives, such a loss to you, daisy and all his friends and family.

Glad you plan to stay on here so admirable that you can be thinking of others, but for now just think of yourself and Daisy.

Best wishes Ann (2)

Chantal,

I do not know, in the midst of you immense pain, HOW you found the words to say such a beautiful thing, except that it obviously comes straight from your heart, that your love for Lee was genuine and powerful, and nothing can ever take that. Nothing.

I am here for you, as we all are. And we WILL be.

I think you are doing great despite the huge loss your are faced with, and I hope that as you stated to hoe to continue to help others on here, that you realize that you already are, as you will be a big help in leading Michelle when it is my time to move on, and show her the way towards the light and not the darkness of this terrible disease and what it has robbed you of so very unfairly too soon and too young.

I love you and you have ALL of my respect.
PS-GEEK is a HUGE compliment, and a great four-letter word.

Hi Chantal,

I just had a look at the link that you mentioned which shows Lee's work....and my god he was so talented. He has done some really good work ...But you know there is also a clipping of lee and you and daisy in it. That's my favourite.

It so beautiful and speaks a lot about him as a person. You were blessed to have a partner like Lee and Lee was doubly blessed to have you as a his love. You bond is beautiful....I wont say was....Because Lee has now left and will never leave you in spirits. God gives you strength to deal with the loss. Will always be there for you.

Lee's art is **magnificient** I am in complete awe of such talent!

Chantal, You continue to inspire me. To find the strength, to find the words, so soon after such a painful loss is amazing. I'm glad for the time you had together. I can see from his "doodles" that it was time well spent!

Blessings, love, strength and peace to you, Chantal!

Chantal,
You are an inspiration to us all.
It breaks my heart that you are going through this awful pain.
Your Lee was so special. We all give thanks for his honest and brave approach to this horrible disease. Lee will be remembered by so many people that he has helped and advised in such an unselfish way.
And for you Chantal. I wish you the strength and peace that knowing you did everything in your power to support Lee, will bring you later. It is so difficult to think of the future I am sure, but god is watching over you. He has a hand in Lee's and the other in yours.
Less is at peace now. God bless him and you Chantal. You are really special people.
Hugs and prayers
Marci x
