Keep the faith - Still NED

Hi. It's been a long long time since I've posted and you can probably go back and search for hopefulone and find posts starting 5 years ago. I came back to post a note of hope for all newly dx and those dx stage IV. After a colon resection, liver resection, rfa, another major liver resection, rounds of chemo, my husband dx Stage IV 5 years ago is still NED 2 years later after getting scan results Wed.
Please have faith. Faith in God , faith in prayer, faith in yourself. You can accomplish much more than you think you can. Don't give up hope. Miracles do happen and there are many stage IV long term survivors. God Bless- Keep the faith.

    Thank You!
Thanks so much for posting this. There is so much suffering and sadness on the boards that I can't deal with it some times. I search long and hard for hope and reassurance that people can survive for long periods of time. I cling to that with all my might to get me through another day. I have a strong faith, but sometimes I hear so many bad stories that I lose hope.

Thank you for sharing your husband's story and I pray that he continues to remain NED forever. We really need to change the old stats out there. Keep praying for a cure.

    Big hugs,
    Sara
