Michael back in hospital Jaundice

We have been consulting with different Doctor's all day. The final test show one of the tumors on his liver has got much larger and is blocking the flow of the liver in several places.Most specifically, the canaliculate and internal ducts with in the liver. What has happened is the tumor is in the center of the liver and extends into both the left and right side squeezing off the ducts so the liver is unable to function. There had two options to try to correct this. One was to go through the stomach and try to place a stent around the tumor. The other is to go into his side and place an external drain in and at least get the liver drained to get the jaundice under control so they can put him on the trial drug to attempt to shrink the tumor. The Doctor said this surgery is more evasive but was MOST LIKEY to work but he will not know until he tries. So they will be going in through his side directly into the liver and placing a drain at 9 am tomorrow.
