Jthomas233-live and in person.

Friends and classmates-

Well, I updated the day after my MIE and thought things were great. Right after that, I had every complication in the book. I had a leak, pneumonia, A-fib, a failed temporary stent, and eventually had to get re-operated on to straighten things out. I was in the hospital a month.

That's all I'm going to say about it. I'm home... walking, and building myself up for some additional chemo, as some of the nodes showed some microscopic disease.

I haven't gone through the posts yet. Congratulations to everyone who got good news and I'm sending prayers out for everyone else.

Jeff

    Welcome back - Well Done!
    Jeff T!

Whew.... another sigh of relief! So very glad to know that you're home, walking about, regaining strength, and recovering.

You have been through so much. But it's got to be a sign that you ARE strong enough to continue and to continue successfully!

There have been many prayers, positive thoughts, and best wishes sent your way. It is wonderful to *see you* back in person :)

Our prayers continue to lift you up, Jeff!

So glad you are strong enough to post. So sorry you had a rough go of the surgery. But just like your profile picture....you have made it through the storm and are looking for better days now!

Glad to see you back online again
    Jeff,

Great to see you back!!! I remember I was amazed that you were posting one day after your operation. Then silence. I knew that was not good. Sounds like you have really been through a rough time.

In any case, great to see you back again. Sorry about the post operative chemo. I had to do that as well. One positive node out of twenty-one. But I was glad they found them in the pathology rather than later.

Hope you are getting stronger every day. You have been, and will continue to be, in my prayers.

    JEFF!! Welcome back!
    Hey Jeff,

I have been missing your positive energy on the board, glad to see you posting again, and very glad to hear you are starting to work on recovery. Slow and steady, but do try to get some strength back before chemo. My Jeff started post-op chemo this past Tuesday, we are right there with you.

    Take it easy,

    Niki

    GLAD to have you back!!!!
    Jeff,

    Welcome home!!
Sadly you missed some really BAD news, not unlike yours, while you were 'out'. Some really great stories and good recoveries and surgeries also, but we are also suffering greatly on some fronts too just so you know. Michael is one that comes to mind.
Take your time, and rest and get up to speed and we will look forward to all the great and gory details of your adventure when you are up to it.

    WELCOME HOME!!

God bless and may you continue to gain strength.

Great to hear from you Jeff,
I’m sorry to hear you had so much trouble but the fact that you have posted again is a good sign that you’re doing better physically and emotionally. Get out and enjoy some of that beautiful Pennsylvania foliage, that will make you feel even better.
    Hang in there Jeff,
    Joel
