Haven't heard about Dawn's ear tubes. Did you get them put in yet Dawn or is that to come.

    He didn't put them in.
When I went for the appointment, he was happy with the way my ears were coming along. He says he doesn't want to put them in unless absolutely necessary. The right ear is pretty good. The left is at about 75%.

    Thanks for asking. :)

    Hi Sweet

Smart Doctor, if you don’t need them don’t get them. Yes they are a big help but for people like me who must have them and they work great. But I can never go scuba diving again and that sucks

Sorry about that, but honestly, if they told me that they would give me a million bucks, if all I did was scuba dive, I'd pass. No way. The whole idea freaks me out. I am petrified of drowning, and I am not a fan of water, and I cannot really swim very well, and where I come from, "Swimming with the fishes..." is not a good thing. Just sayin'...

    Scuba
    Hondo,

I guess I was just ignorant (nothing new) but I had tubes inserted two weeks after the end of treatment and years later on a trip I did SNUBA, wore a mask with pumped air and we went down probably 30-35 ft, walked on the sea floor with no problems. I assume SCUBA would go deeper and I'm glad it didn't cause damage.

Yes I normally go to 100 feet the guys I go with do go further but that is my limit. The last time I went the ear plugs leaked and I did not know it until I got this bad inner ear infection that all my doctors kept saying was my cancer coming back. It was not until 6 months later I go a copy the MRI and it showed right there Mastoid infection but none of the doctors seen that because they are cancer doctors. Anyway we went to an ENT and tricked him into giving me some antibiotic and it cleared up the infection problem but left me with all the side affects of the infection.

So my wife will not let me play in the water anymore unless it is to take a bath in the bath room. So if you ever go again just make sure you have new ear plugs and that they are water tight.

    Take care

    Dawn
Sometimes I wish I was a fish as I love under the water so much. It is another world sitting there waiting to be explored and is like nothing you can imagine just floating at 100 feet looking at all that God created below the water.

Yes I wish I was a Big Fish in the ocean, but then I guess someone like John would come and mess up may day with his fake bate and I would be only a memory in his mouth. Ha ha ha

    Take care :+))
