quick update

Thanks again to everyone who has asked how I'm doing. Sometimes I get a little "wordy" when I write but this time it will be short. Saw my onc this morning and had my 77th week of chemo. Currently this is Abraxane and Herceptin (week 7 of this combo). I'm feeling OK, working and doing a few other activities, not to mention laundry, cleaning, etc. The plan is to "stay the course" with this until about mid November when I'll have another scan to see if it's working to shrink the tumors - especially in the liver. You might be wondering about side effects and they are present, but do-able! Please keep me in your prayers and send positive thoughts my way. All of you will be kept in my thoughts too.

P.S. I have not abandoned you, always reading and sometimes posting replies. I just don't make many original posts. You do know, don't you(?) that I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have? If I can help or encourage anyone going through this, I'll be glad to do so! MM

    You are amazing Marsha! I can't imagine going thru chemo that many weeks and you still do everyday chores.


    I will be praying for you and praying that in November your scan will show good news!

    I agree with Janelle, you are Super Woman! You have and still are going thru so much, but, you are always so kind and positive and helpful for other sisters.

    Marsha, you are a wonder. You work, continue to keep house and do other activities on your 77th week is totally amazing.

    I think of you often and always send positive thoughts your way. I especially want those liver tumors to shrink and maybe take a hike. I never could figure out where they go when they do go. Body must absorb them, I guess. I am glad that this protocol is giving you a break with side effects. I am certain at this point you are able to handle some of them.

    Wow Marsha~ 77 weeks so far of chemo~ what endurance and strength you have shown. I'm hoping that the scans will reveal an excellent report of your body receiving the treatment.
