Got great news from the oncologist today! Positive theraputic response with significant interval decrease in size and near complete resolution of abnormal metabolic activity in upper abdominal lymphadenopathy. Basically the cancer is gone. He wont call it a remission yet because there is still a little activity but he said it is normal and most likely nothing. 2 more rounds of chemo and then more scans and hopefully I will be done with this thing! I can't believe how fast the cancer melted away!!

    Hi
I am so happy for you. Mine was the same way and it is 2years and 3 months. isn't it a wonderful feeling:) Will you have maintanence like Rituxin? If so it is not bad. I only have scans once a year as long as my bblood is good and I have no symptoms. Good luck on this journey. You're almost at a point to be able to do the REMISSION dance.:):) Joanie

Thanks so much for all the support everyone! My family and I are all so excited!

    Joanie,
I am not sure if I will be on any type of maintenance. My treatment isn't the normal NHL one so I am really not sure what the future holds for me as far as testing and maintenance and all that. I will just have to wait and see!
