I had my oncologist appt all set up from 6mths prior-I went to make my Mammo appt-but IT would have been a week early for my insurance to cover it! So I had to rescedule the onolcotist , which was a domino effect with BLOOD WORK, gyno, even dentist had to be changed -all due to one week difference in my insurance..

MIND YOU I am ever so greatful I HAVE insurance-dont' get me wrong! So had to change "5" appts to make it all work!

    Sounds right
When I went for my ultrasound appt recently I asked about whether the mammo had to be exactly 1 year...of course it does. 3 days after my ct appt, 1 day after my MO appt is when it is due...so made the mammo for the next week and asked about same day results. Thankfully they show the radiologist the film (in my case) immediately since I have history and will do the ultrasound if needed right then. That means that October 11 thru October 19 will be nerve wracking. Oh no...more stress eating on the way! And to top it off I agreed to participate in a "style show" for bc survivors on 10/15 at our local mall. WHAT was I thinking? I am the least model-like person I know.

Glad you got everything rearranged, hope you get nothing but GOOD news,

I had the same thing happen
I had the same thing happen last year! I had a "problem" with my affected breast~ onco ordered a mammo on the ONE breast only~ I asked the RN why they wouldn't do both, well, like you, it was about 10 days before a "routine" mammo would be covered by my insurance! 2 weeks later, regular mammo and yeah, they did BOTH breasts! So whereas they wouldn't do a mammo 10 dys before, it didn't preclude me from having one breast mammo'd twice in less than two weeks! Does that make sense in anyone's word??? LOL Didn't think so !ridiculous! I feel your pain, Disney! LOL

    I have so many appt
I Have so many appt this next month.Urologist, Oncologist, Vascular Doctor(varicose veins), dentist and just went to my family doctor this past week.Since BC it seems non stop.

I know what you mean about the modeling.I was called to do that last year and this year.I had to say no. I was in a tizzy over a tumor that was found in July.It was benign but I already turned down the modeling fundraiser waiting for my results. I also had to go to the next state over to be fitted for clothes.I have no idea where that store is. A very big city and I get lost everywhere I go till I get to know the area.

I think we are all going to be busy from here on out. 6 months for mammos and check ups. Also the oncologist appointments.
