Hi Denise,
Maybe your doctor wants to do the biopsy to see if anything has changed. You've been sick and it sounds like he feels more needs to be checked into. Thats a good thing. I would expect my doctor to do a biopsy if I had a new lump appear or an old one swell up again. You will make it through this Denise... you are stronger than you think. I know it's scary, I'd be scared too, but try not to stress out so much...the stress makes your immune system work twice as hard. When is the biopsy? Do you have someone to go with you...if not, try to find someone. We tend to forget what the doctor is saying when we get scared, so it's better to have a second pair of ears with you. I'm sorry you have to go through this, but remember we will go through it with you. I'll keep you in my prayers and think good positive thoughts that all will be fine. Much love to you...Sue

Denise,
This may be what they mean when they say the new normal. I hope not,but I have been out of treatment with chemo for a year and I do not feel 100% either. Most of my problem is my eyes feel tired all the time. John

john i really do believe i could be more positive about beating the cancer if i just did't stay so tired all of the time, the past three weeks i have'nt even made it to church, and it does'nt help when i keep hearing my family keeps telling me i could do more, how can i make them understand that sitting around most of the time is no picnic for me. they forgot i was the one always working all that i could because there dad did'nt contribute anything. now they act like i'm enjoying just sitting around. blessings denise

Denise,
People that have never felt what we are going thru don't understand what is going on. I know what it feels like to not be able to do what I used to do. I am sure everyone on here knows what I am talking about. They are in the same boat as we are. The chemo will drain your strenght. Its a slow process trying to get it back. Chemo is short for chemical and thats what they pumped into our body. It doesn't just kill cancer cells, but good cells as well. I do not know how to make these people you have to deal with understand what we go thru. All I can say is the heck with them and PLEASE take care of yourself and your health. John

Denise,
I know how you feel about feeling alone. I think everyone on here feels that way in some sort of way. You can have all kinds of friends and relatives around you,but still we feel alone. I know all kinds of thoughts are going thru your mind about going to court. Do not let your cancer diagnosis get in the way. I don't think that is a problem the judge will allow to stand in the way of a decision. Remember what we have is a treatable disease. It is not a death sentence. Take care and try to relax if you can. John

Hi Denise,
Since your daughter is 13, I would think the judge will want to talk to her and hear her thoughts on who she wants to live with. Hopefully she will want to stay with you and the judge will rule in your favor. If you and your daughter are doing well together, I can't imagine a judge giving her father custody just so he doesn't have to pay support. I hope you have someone representing you at court....a lawyer or social worker? You certainly have a full plate and my heart goes out to you. Keep us posted and good luck.
Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

My daughter says she wants to stay with me, but she doesnt want to talk to the judge, she said that she would tell the judge that she doesnt care. I do have a lawyer from the childsupport burra that will be with me. This is not over custody but for childsupport,, but I am afraid he will bring it up becuse he doesnt wanna pay childsupport. I hope I dont loook to dragged out when I go...

Hang in there.

I know it's hard but try to focus on some positives
like your daughter wants to be with you. How many
teanage girls really want to be with their moms?

Just throwing a little humor in there for you.

There are lots of caring people here who understand
and are on your side!

Hugs
