to so many people to let disagreements get in the way of it. We all have our own life experiences which make each of us UNIQUE.

Let's EACH of us be the "bigger person" and put the recent squabbles behind us and try to understand that none of us agree 100% of time on 100% of all things.

    Amen! There is an
Amen! There is an unfortunate reason we have even found our way to these boards...

That having been said, Stef mentioned that I have oftentimes likened this place to middle school homeroom. We go in daily so we get to know who everyone is~ the popular ones, the shy ones, the social ones, the smart ones, the nerds, the quiet ones, the cheerleaders, etc etc. We acknowldege the room but find that we gravitate toward those most like us. The rest we still see every day but don't interact much with. And as long as we aren't doing anything to be written up for and sent to see the counselor~ well, we will fit in with our friends just fine! And so will everyone else!

    Well said as usual Chen
It's a slippery slope to try to address these issues. We have different styles of communicating, some abrasive , some with humor, some with kindness, but we must always try to be respectful of the opinions and treatment choices of our sisters.

So true Rague. Thanks to you and the other Sisters in Pink who responded for setting the record straight. We are, indeed, unique and special in our own way. Let's move on.

    Well said all!
I was out of town and then dealing with the new computer so missed the controversy but caught up a little last evening. Each of us can choose what to read and what to forget based on our experiences and where we are on any given day. Let's just keep praying for each other and making like a box of crayons.

I think no one here wants to
I think no one here wants to be hurtful and thinks they are being helpful in some way to someone. We're all in this together and our bond is stronger than any differences we might have. A few years ago there was a popular book called "All I Really Need to Know I learned in Kindergarten" by Robert Fulghum. It contained some of the things he learned and he shared the following:

"Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Clean up your own mess. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life, learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together..."

He went on to say, "Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap...And it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together."

I think this holds true for all of us. What principles to live our lives by, just remember what you learned in kindergarten. Lets all say we're sorry when we hurt someone, eat cookies, learn, think, sing, dance, nap, hold hands and stick together.

    I adore you Cynthia :) and I
I adore you Cynthia :) and I agree with everyone else. We're here because we've been dealt the crappy breast cancer card. We all have enough stress going on in our own lives that bickering on here, trying to fault with every little thing someone posts, and acting like a know it all doesn't do any of us one bit of good. Let's all grow up, put our big girl panties on, and move on.
I love this site and each and every one of you on here. Remember these words of wisdom from Thumper's mom "If you dont have something nice to say, don't say nothing at all". Negativity breeds negativity, and we certainly don't need that on here.
