I've been dancing with NED since 3 pm today.

Saw surgeon yesterday and had mammogram which was negative.

Saw oncologist today and blood test results and chest x-ray all good. Other than weight gain and some hair thinning from the Femara, I feel good.

This journey for me began on July 2, 2009 during routine mammogram. Discovered 2.5 cm lump in breast...5 rounds of chemo which shrunk tumor to 1.2 cm., then lumpectomy, then 32 radiation treatments. Three positive lymph nodes.

Celebrating with my young grandchildren this weekend who are coming for a visit.

I am hoping and praying everyone on this board gets good news soon too.

    Good News
    Good news for you. My cancer tumor was found also on July 2,2009.Wasn't till Aug 18 biopsy was done and on Aug 19 was called to come in and see the doctor. Dx was DCIS non invasive and the tumor was 1/2 centimeter.No node involvement and cancer was contained.
    Just take tamoxifin.

    Last month(July 14)a tumor was found for my 2 year check up.It was tested on Aug 9 and the results were benign.

    From now on I hope your tests will be negative.

    Thanks for sharing your great news with us. Are you slow dancing or rocking in your red sparkly dance shoes? "Celebrate" is a good older song and gets everyone on the dance floor. Very happy for you!
