Its a cyst in the bone if that matters.
Personally I would go with my oncologist's recommendation and have it removed. I'm sure he has his reasons for wanting it gone, possibly could cause problems later on??

I agree with Glenna, get it out. If memory serves me right, it can continue to enlarge and cause more damage. My husband had a bone cycst in his leg as a teenager. They had to remove it and replace the bone with part of his hip bone. A cyst anywhere can't be good. Praying all goes well.
