MRI JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Hello All, I am scheduled for an MRI as some of you know I have had tummy issue for about a month now. I had a CT last week that came back okay, however my doctor (not onco) said he does not like that CT place that they are hired NOT to find anything....oh great!!! So he ordered an MRI with and without contrast for Wednesday with me seeing him on Friday. I have had a good two days so I am feeling better about the whole thing (you all know how our minds can drive us nuts). Anywho if you could lift me in prayer and positive thoughts on Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon when I get results I would soooo appreciate it!

    this imaging center is hired NOT TO FIND ANYTHING? What? Why did your physician send you there, then? If what he says is true, someone needs to turn that place in to someone!

    I agree with Miss Nancy .. why would a physician send you to a center where there is questionable outcomes, and hired (by whom?) to find nothing. Insurance fraud ?

    It stinks that you have to have another test but better safe than sorry.

    Thanks everyone! The CT was ordered by my gp who then sent me to the specialist who ordered the MRI. he was pretty clear about his dislike for that place so you can bet I will not return there fir any type of a scan.

    Sounds like he is double checking! That is always good. 2 tests coming back negative will certainly put your mind and hopefully stomach at ease.

    I will be on the bus with prayers and positive thoughts.

    Good thoughts and prayers. these tests alone can be stressful and worrisome but glad your doctor is so on top of this. Hoping that they find nothing serious. We will be there with you for this.

    Hi Re-
    Hope the MRI is over now and Friday is filled with good reports. What sort of "stomach thing" have you been having? Hang on to the Ativan if you need it to get you through until your appointment Friday.
