Carlene and I made some lovely quilt squares and I am embrod. the names from the list we currently have on each square.

This is a final call for names: if you want a square for yourself or a relative/friend please reply to this post.

You can see previous posts by Carlene (aka Hissy_Fitz) for more information if you are new to the board.

    Radiation ..... BLAH!
    Hi Mary and Carlene,

My initial plan was to make a quilt square with my profile photo on it. Unfortunately, Cancer interfered...being unable to drive and the fatigue involved with the radiation has definitely negatively impacted my life and plans! But isn't that the way of cancer? At any rate, I will not have a quilt square to send, but if you have an extra one to embroider for me, I would be grateful.

    Leesa....I figured as much,
Leesa....I figured as much, but you're covered. I made a black polka dot cat on a green background for yours. When I get them back from Mary, who is embroidering the names, I will take a picture of it for you.

    Have I mentioned...
How very much I love you! I am so grateful for your unending support and thoughtfulness!

Cancer sucks, but I can't imagine my life without you and the other ladies here! I don't have the words...(because I'm overwhelmed, not because of the brain tumor!)

I love the black polka dotted cat on the green background! My cat, Whizz, was a black cat!

    Love,

    Leesa

    I know! That's why I chose
I know! That's why I chose the black cat. (And the green background is...well, kind of obvious.) I read about Whizz on Facebook! He was the one who liked to carry your undies around the house, right?

We're all in this together, kiddo. Never forget that.
