Biopsy over...WHEW!

It wasn't bad...my neck is a bit sore this morning..and was only in recovery for an hour as opposed to the 3 I was told to expect....Guess, I'm a tough "ole bird!"...lol. Oh and conscious sedation is a good " thang!" Now, even though the scans showed this tumor as cancerous, we wait for the results which I will get on Monday....my precious hubby was with me of course, cracking his usual jokes....when the nurse, before she inserted the IV, asked for the umpteenth time, my name and birthday he said..." That's not her real name....she's a movie star and we're here, incognito".....I said, "Yes, that's true..I'm really Angelina Jolie and he's Brad Pitt"....thankfully she had the IV needle inserted because she almost fell over with laughter...

So...Tonight at 8:15 I'm having my MRI....I think tonight we'll be Melania and Donald Trump....

    Nancy, I love your attitude. It really is amazing what a little humor can do for the mind. Wishing you well on your MRI. I had mine on Wednesday and was surprised to see that Mayo has a machine that is open on one end. I asked if it was an "open MRI" and was told no. It was still a little better than being totally enclosed. Sending stong vibes your way for clean scans. (((Hugs)))

    You are an amazing pillar of strength and I too love to approach things with a sense of humor. It sure makes it easier on those loved ones around you to feel more comfortable. I hope Donald treats you well tonight and after your MRI you take time to celebrate the special bond you two have.
