a good sleep makes so much difference.
managed a 10km walk at the gym as well.
i think i am over the worst of it with the reconnection. thank god.
its the worst i have felt in the last year since dx.

found one great tip. squat when you poo. get down low and relax.
pretend your living 10000 years ago, before toilets.
it really helped me. i am glad i have the kids potties , they are quiet comfortable.

if you suffer recoonection hell then remember the squat, aalso immodium helped, gentle flushable wipes, metamuscal, sudocren cream and nerve deadening gel.

its an experience i would not want too go through again, but well worth it now.

hugs,
pete

You mentioned nerve deadening gel. What's it called?

    Thanks.

lignocaine gel 2% only $4 here
i carry it everywhere, not that i have used for the last couple of days.

the skin around the anus breaksdown when you exceed 100 poo's a day for me.

even getting a good nights rest means no poo's so the skin repairs.

our bodies are a miracle if we give them a chance.

    Now you see
What I meant about what a HUGE relief it is not to have to "check baby" during the night and worry about leaks and such... just to be able to flop around and not worry about it....

As I said before, and will continue to say.. I have the utmost respect and sympathy for those that don't have the option for a reversal. I know I could do it, but am SOOOOOO thankful I don't have to.

Good to hear good news Pete.... So are you going to keep your potty on wheels now, or sell it for a good horse? LOL

    Glad you are better
Good to hear people feeling better.

If I ever start to feel sorry for myself, amazingly I never have, I will remember that there are those that have had to go through so much more than I.

I am so thankful that all I had to go through was a little resection and six months of chemo.
