Northern California Lunch Date - June 25!
We'll meet at BJ's in Natomas again - easy access, lots of parking - Saturday, June 25 at noon. Please respond that you'll be there! Strawberry margaritas count as pink.

Is anyone welcome to come to this? It is the day after chemo. but in the past I've been okay that day. i would love to connect with some other survivors in my area.

Last time Phoenix Rising from British Columbia, and Chen from Santa Barbara joined us. Anyone is welcome. All you have to do is show up and let us know ahead of time so we can make reservations.
I was always fine the day after chemo, too, Babs. Hope this cycle turns out to be the same as your others and you can join us.

If you are on these boards, are one of the Kindred Spirits, are in the area...YES!!!!!We all love meeting the sisters who walk our path with us; I had the pleasure of meeting these fine sisters a few months back as I was visiting family in Sacramento~ I encourage you to go to this lunch!!!0 -

Oh What Fun!
Wish I could be there, Ava is having her birthday party on that day so I will not be available.
To any Northern Cali Folks out there who are considering going to this luncheon if you can be sure to go! I have met several CSN sister's and it is always such a wonderful rewarding time.

Remember the last time we got together? I was coming to Sacramento for my BIL's birthday, but I couldn't pass the opportunity to meet with all of you first??? It is ALMOST going to happen again, but not quite...sob! :-(
Sunday the 26th is my brother's birthday~ and his kids are throwing him a surprise party! Reggie and I are flying into Sacramento on Saturday the 25th...sadly, not till 5PM; I am going to be there, but not be there at the right time to hug all of you!
So, I will be thinking of you sweet sisters; have a few laughs for me, will you? And I hope you meet a new Kindred Spirit, too!

We are flying Southwest~ but Reggie and his Native singing group are performing at an event in LA that morning...thus the late afternoon flight. :-( So close, yet so far away! Hugs to all who are there!

So far, I know it's Gabe N Abby's Mom, Chickadee and possibly Babs, and of course, me. Anyone else coming to lunch with us on Saturday? I'm planning on making reservations at BJ's in Natomas for noon. I'll make the reservations Friday. It's ok if you don't know for sure or just show up anyway - the reservations will be in my name - Suzanne - and I plan on being there.

BJs does not take reservations for less than 10, so how about we meet at 11:45? Whoever gets there first, get the table. I have an embroidery club meeting at 10, but I'll leave early. I know my priorities!
After, I'm taking the peach bus to visit my friend who is recovering from her hysterectomy for not-very-nice uterine cancer. I hate cancer! But I love that we've met each other because of having cancer. There is a silver lining sometimes.
