Haven't been on here in a while, I do try to read as much as I can. I Have been trying to get on with my life and get back to normal as much as Possible. I am almost to the end of my treatment Whew!! It has been a long year.. My mother is still in bad shape she no longer can get out of bed and her mind is gone now from the strokes that she has had. She don't know me any more very sad. I had to put her in a nursing home with Hospice. I miss coming here and am going to try and come more. I just wanted to check in and see if I had any old friends left on here. I see allot of new names. I hope I can be some help to any one that may need it. Your all Angels I've missed you..

    Hi Kay,

    Welcome back. I am glad to hear your treatment is almost over. Hope it wasn't too hard on you. I am sorry your mother is not doing well. It is so hard when your mom or dad is not the person you remember them being. While you can certainly be of support to us we would hope we can be there for you, too. Please keep in touch. OF COURSE we will have you back.

    Good to hear from you, Kay. Great to hear you're almost through with your treatments, but sorry about Mom. You must have had a really hard time dealing with both bc and a very ill mother. Common back, we're here to support you!

    Kay so glad to hear form you. It becomes hard to keep up when life returns to "normal" ones time and energy are taken up by other things. You always have a seat on the pink bus! Sorry about your mom, we arent there yet but am starting to deal with some issues with my MIL and its so difficult. Hugs

    Kudos for near completion of your treatment - you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I'm sure. Huge accomplishment! Also, glad you've been finding your way towards your own "new normal"... Which is exactly what we all work so hard for.
