Hello everyone. I'm new here. I'm a 30 yr old male and I had a thyroid lobectomy because of what the fine needle biopsy determined was a tumor that had the potential to be a follicular neoplasm. I was diagnosed last week with papillary cancer with follicular characteristics, whatever that means. I'm scheduled to have the other half removed next week. I came back to work last week, but have been extremely tired recently. I haven't been able to sleep at night the past several days and I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open during the day. Is this normal for someone that had the lobectomy three weeks ago? I'm sure I have an uphill battle when the docs are to determine my Levothyroxine levels and everything, but I'm trying to get a grasp on my body now. I feel so run down. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks!
