Update on Bjmom1

Hello Everybody, It been along time since I was on line a lot of things happen some good and bad. First let me start out with the good. I just came back from disney world this was on my bucket list to see my 5 year old son have fun at disney. So that was my high light so far. Next the bad news my bone cancer ave gotten bigger so now I have to start a new chemo and my xeloda is making my hand and feet burn and peel. Next I have bladder problems because of bone mets because it causing pressure to the spine. I going to have a pet scan to see if it had spread to my liver just pray it haven't because I just got my lungs clear since I found out I have lung mets also. Whether then that I have gotten things done that is important to me. I pray try to keep a positive attitude and lord know that hard. Well that all for now getting trier again need to rest up for the next challange.

    ((((((hugs))))) to you~ I have been wondering how you are, and so have many of the Kindred Spirits!! Thanks for checking in and for sharing your news. I wish of course that ALL of it had been good news, but I rejoice in the fun things that you have been doing.

    I am happy your lungs are clear, and I hope they stay that way. I will also be starting Xeloda soon; I understand the hand/foot burn and peel is pretty common. :-(

    I wish you a succesful round of chemo~ our hearts and prayers, coupled with strength and extra courage are with you all the time.

    Love the good news
    and will pray that the new chemo does the job on the bone mets. I know the hand and feet burning, that is what the new chemo is doing with me, and it is a lot harder chemo which I have decided is because it is working on the tumors. Will keep my fingers and toes crossed that the liver is clear!

    Hope Disney was all that you wanted it to be! (Disneyland is still one of my favorite places in the world)!

    So glad you got Disney World checked off your list. Here's my wish added to everyone else's that you will have the chance to check off many more items with the help of your upcoming treatment and all our prayers. I'm sure your son really had a great time! How lucky he is that having fun with him is at the top of his Mommy's list!
