Hello My lovely Cancer fighting friends. It's Eric's sister again! Still loving my brother who is in the loving hands of a faithful God. How is everything going? I would like to stay on the board with Eric's login. Any objections? It makes me feel closer to him when I am closer to you. Chow for now......

    No, it's not a problem! I love hearing from you. Don't forget I'm on facebook, too (Gail Hedge Keefe). I think of Eric so often and miss his presence here.

    My Heart Stopped....
    Wow, I had to do a double-take. At first, I thought it was an old post and then saw the date.

    Jennie and I came to see your brother and mom about a week or so before he passed.

    He told us that he had talked with you about end of life issues - that must have been very hard for the both of you.

    Eric and I used to talk quite a bit before he got really sick. I was very sorry that everything went the way that it did and wish he could be here for you and mama.

    Eric used to talk about you often, Craig. You guys were a great support to him. Still missing him as always but my memories are starting to end with a smile instead of cry. I feel so blessed to call him my brother and I desperately wish that I could have grown old with him but I am greatful that a had 40 years with such a wonderful brother.

    Thank you, Gail! I sometimes logon to Eric's facebook account. My aunt freaked out one night when he showed as "online". Trust me, I'm sure Eric is still online :).

    Just like Craig said, my heart stopped for a second when I saw the post by Eric38- looked at the date and saw it was an up to date post. I do miss seeing his picture and hearing from him. Of course you can keep checking in here!!

    Someone recommended that I keep his picture on the board. I plan on updating it with a picture of both of us together. His picture that's posted does not do him justice....much more handsome! Thank you for the note, Lisa. Hope you are doing well.

    I just seen the Eric38 on another post.....WOW! Blew my socks off too! I am the Jennie that visited Eric and your Ma with Craig. That was actually the second time we had met. The winter before that I was in town for a Cowboys game and met up with Eric and Craig. We had a blast. He has a special pace in my heart and I miss him. Thank you so much for bringing a smile to my face tonite. Please stick around! Take care

    Welcome, welcome, welcome. Please come on and let us know how things are going anytime you want. We often wonder about the families of our semi-colon family and how they are doing after the death of their loved one. You are family to us.

    I am so happy to hear that you can smile through your tears now, it is part of healing.

    Eric was a teriffic guy, fought the good fight against this disease and I'm sorry he is gone.

    I'm "doin' what I can" LOL:)

    Just finished my last treatment for awhile and waiting on scans to be scheduled. Hopeful to hear some kind of good news...it has been a long year with this latest round of fighting.

    Thanks so much for asking!

    Tell "Mama" hi for me....I used to tell Eric that I wished I had a mom as nice and wonderful as yours is. Hope she is doing well.

    Wow had to take a double take and then a triple take, and also looked at the date. What a nice surprise to open it and find Eric's wonderful sister. That is so wonderful that you popped on the board to let us know how you are doing. We all miss Eric too, and you are right, he is one of those Angels in Heaven and know he is looking down on all of us. Sure do miss him. Hope you stop in more often and let us know how you and your mother are doing. Eric always spoke so highly of your mother. She sure was the Angel in his life too.

    I thought this was an old post too,but date tells me that must be you.I miss Eric too,he still pops in my mind from time to time.This icon is still in my friend list,he was my friend,he is in my heart and he will be my friend forever.I consider myself as one of the lucky ones because when I joined this forum for my husband,I met a few people like Eric who was always humous and had a unique view of everything.This helped me and my husband get through the whole treatments.Hi young lady,hope you and your mom are doing well.Best wishes to you and your mom.Take care.
