Hello everyone. First a word of thanks for your encouragement over the years. My wife was first diagnosed and treated in 2005. We have been through two recurrences since then. One in 2007 and another last year in September 2010. Blessedly the cancer has been beaten back with chemo each time. We all know what a challenge it is. But it occurred to me when checking in tonight that I've done all the talking for us as this sort of stuff is not my wife's style. But I keep her informed, especially the encouragement given by all of you. So I thought it appropriate to post a picture of the two of us. She's got a little less hair right now...but walking bravely into the world. We're wishing this remission could last for a long time but are doing are best to appreciate each new day. Her garden is coming in rich and full along with her hair. I always joke she loves her flowers more than me. And that's actually fine. As long as I rank somewhere in the top 10.

Wishing you all love, hope and NED>

    New or old
I noticed while going to the bookmark for this page that the first pulldown was a research page on Ovarian cancer. I remember my wife and I reading that material and then shutting down the page instantly. It was too much to take in those first days of recurrence in 2007. But I've kept the bookmark for reference.

Meanwhile we've been back to this discussion board to process every challenge, or nearly every one. The fear with ascites. The rising and lower of CA-125. Remission. And yet another recurrence.

This is life. The other board is static. We choose life the best we can.
