Trip to the ER

in Colorectal Cancer #1
George hasn't been feeling well lately, his color is awful and the diarrhea as bad as it can get so it was off to the ER for us on Friday morning. Stayed there all day, received a couple bags of IV fluids. It was then decided by his onc that he should be admitted. Since is blood counts are off he also received a blood transfusion. They are also testing him for C-Diff so he is in private room and you have to gown up before going in, can't even bring my purse in without putting it in a bag. Hopefully will be bringing him home today after all the tests with a game plan to get things under control.

    CPT-11
    My husband ended up in the hospital twice on the first treatment of cpt-11. So glad he went, best place for treatment. He is off right now, gaining weight back and looking better, next appointment for us the 23rd. Will be praying for you. So rough I know.

    Dear tina,

    i hope george is feeling better and bounces back soon.
    ER and the iv bags and diarrhea, i know what its like. i hated being so dehydrated it took days for my lideny function to pickup. I hope he got before it got to bad.
