Wow, it's been a while since I've had much time lately so this is the first time i've actually been able to get updated on everyone. I'm so sorry to hear about all of the newly diagnosed. Loretta and William, just wanted to tell you my grandpa will bring up things that you said in your conversation and I know that it has helped to ease his mind to say the least. He asks about you guys often and I have not been able to give him much of an update being so much is, and has happened lately. I see you are busy helping everyone like I told him you would be. My grandpas surgery is Monday. It's hard to believe everything that has happened in the last few months. It is ironic that this weekend is "Relay For Life" where a fellow teacher and I organize our school districts involvement for the weekend. It has been nice the last couple of weeks, my Gpa has been feeling better each day and is tasting his food again. Reality is starting to set in. Fear, anger, worry, you all know the routine, IT SUCKS!! I understand that I might have the opportunity to meet some of you in Pittsburgh. Praying for texbook surgeries for all of us!

    Thank you:)
As expected the anxiety is building. Loretta and William just to clarify those are my feelings not grandpas. It is hard to tell emotion from him besides some fear and anxiety, but he has been good and we have not talked about the surgery or anything in a while. I had a couple of ?'s, I know u always speak of Shadyside but when I talked to the lady from housing a while ago she said University and one other facility was closer to where he would be. What do u think? Also, they said that he would be in intensive care for about 24 hrs. I have one day that I can take off work to spend the night and the other days I'll be driving back and forth, and I was wondering when would recommend the best time to be there. My plan is to head up after work on Monday around 2:30 and spend the night Monday night to be there all day Tuesday. the surgery is scheduled for 7:30. Thank you so much for everything!
