Well after radiation/Xeloda, ostomy surgery & 12 rounds of folfox infusions a year later my Onc released me to go back to work.
Still not NED as have a CT scan coming in July and another colonoscopy for sept. (praying and keeping fingers crossed)

Really didnt think my company would still have my position open (hired a replacement) after being gone so long. But was told today to come in tomorrow and also still have my senority and benefits ect!!! Looking forward to a work routine again & praying for clear tests later on.
Starting to see some light, will always be checking back on my CSN family from time to time.

That's really cool Kenny. I know what you mean about getting back to a work routine. Don't work to hard.

I hope your scans are great.

    Take Care,

    Kenny...funny I saw this
Kenny...funny I saw this post today. It's wonderful about your job and how they worked with you on everything. I was just sharing some of my fears of the future yesterday. I am almost where you are now. Tuesday is my last chemo and my Dr says I can go back to work in June. I am curious about how you are feeling? Do your feet feel ok? My job will have me on my feet for 12 hours not much sitting. Unless (I hope) they can find something else for me. I am excited to get my new normal back. lol.

Good luck to you and I hope your first day back to work goes great!!!

    Love and hugs, Gail

That's great! You have a good employer...that's not the case many times. Getting back to work will be therapeutic in itself. (To Gail - good luck to you, too...that's such good news.)

    Gail.
Been feeling fine and strength slowly back.
Biggest thing is the nueropathy, hands and feet numb. Have a hard time with small tasdks like tieing shoes, buttoning shirt ect, occasionally drop things.

Ive read this can linger on, hope it subsides soon. Last infusion was Apr 5th.
