It has been a while since I posted. I read the posts daily and pray
for each and everyone.

Jim continues to heal after his MIE in January. He is gaining strength
and will have good days and bad. I am gathering documentation to get him
into the Clincal trial at University of Washington in Seattle. His case
will be presented to the physicians doing a trial for a non-invasive
aortic valve replacement. One of their requirements from Jim is his
oncologists statement regarding his lifespan after ec. The oncologist said
the statistic is 40% for five years, but because of Jim's exceptional response
to the chemotherapy and radiation he believes it to be higher. I don't
know if this will nix Jim being able to be in the trial or not. Time will
tell. His aortic stenosis is severe and he tires easily.

We are so blessed as I read the stage IVb stories. As a caretaker of a stage III
I can't imagine how difficult it is for you. Please know I care and keep you in
prayer.

Linda

    So nice to see

    Linda! Jim!
So nice to see you posting. I have been wondering about you two. Sounds like Jim has recently been doing pretty good. Glad to hear it. Now on to his heart issues. I am praying you are able to get the best treatment possible. Keep keeping on! Hugs to both of you. Keep us posted when you can.

    Happy for you!
    Linda,
I have not been checking the posting lately, and now coming back and seeing so many sad and desperate posts I am so happy to read about Jim's good response and improvements. Keep it up! Beat the statistics, it means nothing!
