Allergic to my wig?

Hi everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's, grandma's and mamma's! I hope you are all having a beautiful day and your family and friends.

So I collected my beautifully styled wig yesterday and was showing it to my husband today. I took it off and then about 20 minutes later, I broke out in a rash on my neck?
It is from the Raquel Welch collection and from reading through their website, no one else seems to have had this issue.
What is weird is that while it was being styled yesterday I had it on longer than I did today?
Another thought is that I am 6 days post my first chemo - could there be some sort of reaction from that?

    I also got a Raquel Welch
    I also got a Raquel Welch hand tied wig. Mine gave me a rash on my forehead. They told me at the shop where I bought it that I may need to wash it. I just came home from Mass and the grocery store and couldn't wait to get it off. I bought the shampoo and conditioner for synthetic wigs so tonight it takes it's first bath!

    It is weird as I have not had it on for 5 hours now and I am still sensitive on my neck. I think it may be part of the chemo. What is your cocktail? Mine is 4 rounds of TC only.

    Mine is Abraxane,
    Mine is Abraxane, xgeva,tamoxifen. Are you just losing your hair? It could also be if your hair is starting to fall out. My scalp was really sensitive.

    Nope ... still have a full head of hair
    My hair is fine but a lot of it. I have a slight itchy scalp but not overly.
    The rash is around my neck. Weird?
    I think dose of Benadryl may be in order by will call the on-call dr first. What do you think?
