knot on my tongue again

I noticed a knot on my tongue Saturday and by Friday it had doubled went to the doctor on Friday and my doctor was in surgery they called him and he said send me a picture so the took a picture and sent it to his phone and he told them to biopsy it. They biopsed the wrong part. They biopsed beside the knot. I did not notice it till i got home. I had surgery July 29th. I had 95% of my tongue removed and replaced with my thigh and 2 neck disections. Plus chemo and radiation. I dont want to go through that again. I will find out Thursday. David

    I have tonsil cancer, am still going through treatment. I'll keep you in my prayers, I can't even imagine having to go through this again. But if I have to, I suppose I will, as you will too. Stay strong and please keep us updated!

    I had a big knot on my tongue to start off my cancer treatment. I hated to look at it, but now it's gone. I hope yours will be just scar tissue or something of the sort. You are now in my prayers for it to be nothing. Keep positive thoughts....

    I kinda had the same thIng
    I kinda had the same thIng happen to me. I went in because I had a white spot (leukoplakia) on the floor of my mouth under my tongue. I was at the oral surgeons and he took a biopsy. When I got home I looked in the mirror. He had taken a chunk under my actual tongue. I had like 5-6 stitches under there. When I told him about it he said I had a few spots. I won't even get into the rest, but there was a whole big thing which makes me suspicious about the pathology report that says I was fine. (too much to type) but I don't wonder if that wasn't the primary thT they never found. My tongue biopsy was in June of 2008. I found my swollen lymph node in October of 2008.
