Biopsy Today

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Today my doctor performed the biopsy of the mass in my nasopharynx. Trips to the OR are never fun but it went well and I'm thankful for all of the great staff at Strong Hospital.
Dr. Vandersloot said that the mass appeared smaller than it did several days ago when he found it during a routine scope.
He went on to say that he'd be surprised if it was cancer and that it was likely swollen adenoid tissue.
I did a mini dance. I have to wait until mid week, next week, before I get the official word.

    Biopsy Results
    Hi, Joel. Yes, indeed, April has shown a whole lot of positive results for folks on this site, myself included. So, we are on a roll and your results are just going to have to fit in with the current positive series of events.
