My father left this world, I will miss him

My dad passed away April 13. He was a wonderful guy. All loved him. I will miss him so much. As he lay in the hospital bed during his last days, he wanted to make sure that we all would be ok. The end of his life, and he was concerned more about us than himself.

The last words he said to me were, "thank you for taking care of me." I told him, "it was my privledge, and an honor to do so. God blessed me by giving you to me to be my dad."

I will miss him greatly.

    I'm wrapping my arms around you....
    we share the grief of losing a parent.....(my mom passed on April 14).

    Never easy, but you and I both need to keep the memories alive, and so keep them alive in our hearts!

    Jennifer, I am sending a big (((hug))) your way. It is very tough to lose a parent. I have lost both of mine. I am also just coming to grips with losing my father-in-law on April 11th. I have a lot of wonderful memories and these will always be in my heart. I am hoping your memories of your dad will also be of comfort to you in the days ahead.

    Your gave your father an incredible gift and if ever there is a measurement of success it is leaving this world surrounded by the people who love you most. I know how hard these times are in our lives but I find comfort in knowing they live on each and everyone that they touched through out their lives...

    So sorry Jennifer for the loss of your Dad. It is so very hard to loose a parent. Hold you memories close to your heart and he will always be with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

    I'm so sorry for your loss you both need to share your stories ,it will be a healing process for both of you ,but right now you both need to grieve, it hurts so much but most of all we have our memories and that will last us until we see them again,I don't know how many on this site are saved and know for sure their going to heaven if you don't know go to a church of your choice and give your life to God, so you will know for sure you'll see your loved ones again lots of people don't get a chance to tell their loved ones they love them and thank them for what they've done because sometimes God will take them so quick like in a wreck,or just fall dead. again you ladies I'm so sorry,I pray God's strength and peace for both of you.
