I thought I would share with you an article that appeared in our local newspaper today. THey are going to do Head & Neck screening at the Minor League Baseball game Monday night for free. This is the first time I have ever noticed any attention to Head & Neck Cancers. It is nice to see some progress. This patient had only surgery with no rad or chemo with success. Copy & paste on the below link to read the article that was published in the newspaper if you are interested:

    Inserting Links on Discussion Board
    Deb,

What?? No MIT Degree? No "Linked" In? Here's my stab at inserting a link here:

    type in < symbol
Then with no space after the < symbol, type the following, starting with the "a"(no space between < and a): a href="URL"target="_blank">NAME symbol

replace the "URL" with the address of the link

replace the NAME with what you want the link to be called (what we see to click on)

Hope it works - if not, maybe I should remind all that I do not possess an MIT Degree. Good luck. Have fun.

Here is how I do it....
Here is how I do it....

    a href="http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20110414/FEATURES03/304140017/Early-detection-cancer-tongue-led-robotic-surgery?odyssey=nav|head" target="_blank" >H&N Screening at Louisville Slugger Field "

    preceed that with "< i >< b >" minus the "'s and spaces between > and i and b you get;

H&N Screening at Louisville Slugger Field

The characterisitcs of the link font are

    < b > turns bold on, < / b > turns bold off

    < i > turns italic on, < / b > turns italic off off

< font color="red" > turns RED on, < / font > turns the font color red off.

The ones to turn on RED are just before the link name, to turn them off they go after the link name..then the turn offs for the bold and italic are very last....

I'll do it in a photo and post it to my expressions.

To display I put spaces between these characters, for the code you don't...

Similar to above...the target and blank just makes it open in another window instead of the one you are in at the time you click the link....

    Best,
    John
