First Hair Cut

What progress! It really does come back. I had my last chemo the day before Thanksgiving and much to my surprise was starting to grow peach fuzz on my head. I got my first hair cut today. Nothing major but it was uneven and out of control so she evened it up, trimmed it a bit and made it look better. Even though she didn't cut off much it's still a milestone and proof to those of you still in the process that it does grow back. The only problem is that's is wavy/curly and hard to manage. Oh well, as I understand it this too shall pass.

you were able to have your hair cut. I finished chemo Dec. 7, 2010 and don't have enough to cut yet. Some day......

The wavy/curly and hard to manage
will gradually change if it was like mine. At one point my hair dresser said, "Look at that, all you have to do is push it and the style is there". It slowly changed a little at a time after about two years it was back to the straight hair that I had before chemo.

    Enjoy your new hair.

    Hair
My hair is coming in since my last chemo Nov. 15th. but the bangs are real slow and the back is coming in so slowly. I have trimmed it around my ears. Is there some vitamin that we can take to help it along??
It's a good feeling to see hair on our heads again. :-)
    Hugs.
