Sex and the City fans?

I discovered that there were about 10 episodes of Sex and the City on this afternoon (and still on as I am typing this). They were from the time period when Samantha was diagnosed with BC and was undergoing chemo and hair loss and everything else associated with this beast. It was very emotional for me to watch this, as I hadn't seen these episodes since they were first on, which was before I went through it myself. When her hair started to come out and she decided to shave her head, and then Smith shaved his head before doing hers - that just had me sobbing. I was going through the exact same thing exactly one year ago today (except Smith Jarrett wasn't in my bathroom!) I loved the episode where Samantha was giving a speech at a fundraiser and was dripping with sweat from the chemo then she ripped off her wig, and most of the other ladies in the audience took off theirs as well. It was very emotional.
Hugs,Linda

    Hey Linda,
Yes, I am a Sex and the City Fan. I didn't see all of the episodes about Samantha's breast cancer, but I do remember the one where she ripped off her wig in front of the audience.

i remember seeing that a couple of times. never in my wildest dreams did i ever think back then i would have breast cancer some day, a double mastectomy with snb, and all this nerve damage and pain.wow, i can see myself watching it.on a side note, i live in a little town.went to the kwik trip, there was a woman working, bald, no eyebrows, no eyelashes, and she was so pretty. i wanted to say something but i didnt feel comfortable enough. she was so nice, smiley. she stepped away from her register and was clearly having a one heck of a hot flash, red face, sweating. bob, was the guy at my register, owly old coot.crab a@# both times he has checked me out now at the register.i thought, take a lesson from the lady next to you. but as i write this, i wonder, maybe he has troubles too but i just cant see. but man did that lady ever look good bald. wish i had the courage to tell her.

I have everyone of them on DVD - and yes, I remember those episodes. It was before I had breast cancer but the funny thing is - I was just thinking about them the other day and was wanting to dig them out and watch them. I bet they will mean more to me now.
I don't know if any of you remember me telling you but my husband, my father, my son and both son in laws shaved there heads for me last July. I was so deeply touched and I cried like a baby. I beleive I still have that picture on my expression page.
