My heart is with you

I just wanted to wish you all comfort and healing. My mother died at age 49 from ovarian cancer. She was a great mom and I'm so lucky to have known her. I was by her side for her 3 year fight -every hospital stay, each treatment, and I held her at the end. Her bravery is reflected in so many posts I have read on this site. You are a group of amazing women and I'd hug each one of you if I could. I never knew a site like this existed until I was diagnosed at the beginning of February with kidney cancer...and here I was having great CA125 test results each year, so I though I was "coast clear".
Ultimately we are fighting the same foe, regardless of organs. Please God let us all find the healing that our bodies need and the peace and grace necessary to fight. I wish you happiness too. We deserve it!
Love,
Meg

Thank you for your kind words.
I'm glad to are able to cherish the good memories with your mom instead of focusing on the negative. You're right, we all fight the same monster and somehow find the strength to go on because we find out quickly that life is the most important thing. Good luck with your fight.

    Kidney cancer
Well, I know a couple of people who were cured of kidney cancer--I hope you will be cured, too.

    PRAYERS TO YOU, MEG
What a blessing to be with you Mom as she passed from this life. I was also able to be with my Mother when she died of colon cancer. As difficult as it was, I will always cherish the fact that I was able to be with her, and especially to hear her accounts of 'bright green grass', ice cold clear drinking water (she was always thirsty during her journey with cancer), seeing my Dad (who had passed years before) and her Mother (who also had passed), and so much more.

I will pray that you will defeat this kidney cancer. From the sound of your spirit and strength, you have increased your chances ten-fold! And I've read many success stories regarding the kidneys. God bless you.

    Meg,

Thank you so much for sharing the story of your mother. She was blessed to have you with her during her battle. I thank my husband everyday for being my "wing man" during my fight. As said by someone in another post, You sound like a very strong woman and as your mother did, I am sure you will fight a strong fight. My prayers are with you!!!! ((((HUGS))))
