I haven't posted a lot lately, but I do check in on everyone. I am about to take off for Ohio to say a final goodbye to my Mom. Actually, she probably won't still be alive by the time I get there. She is 83, and battled chronic leukemia for a while now. I spoke to her on her birthday (Feb 12) and she seemed good. But this weekend, she just gave out. She is now off life support and in the hospital's 'comfort care' room - meaning my sisters and family are just waiting.
Many hugs to all of you. Call your Mom! Vicki
Thanks to all of you. Your support means a lot Mom passed peacefully at midnight last night. We have been driving for a day and a half and are about 2 hours from there now. I sent a message through my sister to tell her not to wait - if she was tired, just let go. Sis said a few minutes later she just quietly stopped breathing.
I promise not to be away so long any more. This has shown me I still need your support, and you need mine.
Many, Many hugs.....Vicki
