I have been reading and posting, mostly reading and learning from all of you, since I joined in September. Carlene, you just posted a quotation from another OC post about the anatomy of hope that was inspirational for me, thank you! If you don't mind, I would like to know more about some of the other boards, discussion groups, resources, blogs you know of and how to join them. Yesterday evening, my son helped me join Facebook, I think I remember Facebook being mentioned here before. I am building my profile on that. I think you can find me on Facebook now as Christine Bailey. I'm the one with the pink hat with my husband Brian, my rock, best friend, and husband of 31 years. You all have become a part of my life and prayers. Thank you, Christine

    Christine....the quote about
Christine....the quote about hope was from www.inspire.com, another cancer site that has an abundance of supportive women. It's a totally different dynamic, though. I don't visit there nearly as much as I am on CSN.

I follow a couple of cancer blogs. One is written by a young woman named Sarah. She calls herself " Carcinista". You can find her blog at http://carcinista.com/

Also, I follow Jayne Armstrong's blog at http://shoppingkharma.blogspot.com/
Jayne is an 8 year survivor of OC and an absolutely amazing woman, but I would be remiss if I did not warn you that her blog is very graphic, and she is quite ill at this time. In fact, she is in Hospice care and no longer doing any type of active treatment. But she is still riding her bike!

You can find me pretty easily on FB....just search for Carlene Mullins.

    Hi Christine!
    Hi Christine!

I'm so sorry that you had to join us, but I also know that I have found CSN to be heaven sent throughout my cancer journey. I'll try to find you on facebook, but just in case, my profile picture is of a black cat and I'm Leesa Green ;)

    Hugs!
