Moffit Center .. Florida .. Anyone been there ???

    Hi Vickisam,
    My mother in law spent a year or so getting treatment there. We did go with her to a few appointments, when we visited her in FL. She was very very pleased. I found Moffitt to be a very warm and caring place. We live in CA and I have not found any place close to it near us. I have just returned from treatment at MD Anderson, which I also found to be wonderful. Traveled half way across the country to find a great place. I would highly recommend Moffitt.

    Hi Vicki, I don't have direct experience with Moffitt, but I live in Lakeland. The facility that I had all of my treatment, and now follow-ups is The Watson Clinic ~ Center for Cancer Care & Research.

    It's an Affiliate of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa.

    The facility and staff are top notch and very knowledgeable of current information, trends and treatment.

    My ENT is head over my team of medical professionals. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and performed his internship/residence at John Hopkins. He's actively involved with white papers and studies....

    The staff are excellent, both professionally and personally at my facility, can't say enough about them.
