    Two years after my treatment
Two years after my treatment for rectal cancer, a CT scan found thickening of my bowel wall, and the radiologist recommended a colonoscopy. I did get a colonoscopy, but it found nothing significant. My next CT scan a year later showed no further sign of the thickening. So, it wound up being mysterious.

My your thickening be insignificant, also.

    almost eactly two years
before my dx i had a blockage and spent the night in the hospital. i was admitted early in the morning and after catscan was x-rayed every hour. about 9:00 that evening my blockage passed. the doctor came in the next morning and said i got lucky, that an OR had been scheduled and they were going to open me up. two weeks later i was in the ER again. ultrasound on spleen and they took the spleen out and removed adhesions from endometriosus (sp) surgery.

after my cancer dx this year i got copies of catscan reports and both said thickening of the bowel. wish they had opened me up they would have found the cancer earlier. sometimes i wonder if there could be a lawsuit here.

    nd my spleen was infected.
