You're barely 4 weeks out from surgery and your body is still healing. Your issues might be due to working...not sure what type of job you have, but this would be my first thought. Secondly, our bodies have been thru the ringer with surgery and just need 'time' to heal. Most of us expect our "get up and go" to be full tilt, but just doesn't happen quite that fast. Be patient!

I'd bring it up during your Thursday appt, as doc should know and surely has a good answer. Will you get pathology results on this appt?

Good luck and plse let us know how the appt works out!!

    Hi there.

Please make sure you mention these pains to the doc on Thursday-particularly the thigh pain. If the leg pain is consistent they may want to do a dopplar scan (painless-just an ultrasound) on your leg to make sure there are no blood clots there post surgery.

Good luck and let us know how your appointment goes.

Jan's sure right-it takes time to heal from the surgery.

I had leg and back pains for some time, but eventually it went away. Sometimes when I over do stuff like too much food shopping and cooking and cleaning I would get some pains but I take regular over the counter pain killers. Don't worry, it will eventually go away. I think it's part of the healing process. Hugs J

    Thanks for all the reply
Thanks for all the reply guys. I did get the path results. I am grade 2 stage 2 which was a little shocking. They really thought that when I had my D&C in september they had gotten all the cancer at the time. We where doing the hysto so that it would reduce the chance of it coming back. Turns out it did not matter cause it had already spred to the cervics. They have not gotten it all out but I will have to go for radaition treatments. I work a low speed desk job. I am hoping I can work during the radiation cause I do not have any more time to take off. I did ask him about the pain in by back and leg but he said that as my body heals it will go away.

    Tee a\bout work
Tee, couldn't you go on disability for a bit? I am worried about you because you do need some rest. Love and hugs J.

    Needed Rest
I agree you need some rest. Radiation is also cumulative and your tissues need to heel. If that pain doesn't go away call your Doctors office; that's what they are there for. They also worry about blood clots and you may need an ultrasound. They are there to help you; please call.
