2nd a/c today! Had great treatment with awesome couple of people. Sure made it go by quickly when we were laughing and talking rather than sitting and watching a drip! 2 more of these then on to taxol. 18 weeks of chemo left. I see the light! ;)

aren't other patients just awesome? i feel surrounded by such wonderful people when i go for treatments. also, my mom takes me, and we bring snacks and chat. biggest problem with taxol is the benadryl! i conk out for about 30-45 mins after the iv benadryl! i'm on number 6 taxol tomorrow! 6 more after that. once you get past the A/C, the taxol is nothing! i'm feeling great :) hope you do too!

I met some awesome people at my treatment sessions as well. I'm done with chemo now but have kept in touch with one woman in particular (Helen) who said I had inspired her. It's funny when you think about the support you get from others but don't realize you give support to others as well. It's a good feeling.

    I agree!
It makes it go by so much faster when you have someone to chat with. Glad you're getting through it ok and continue the countdown! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I agree .. you become friends with so many people
time flies by during infusions. I am still in contact with several women that I've met during my chemo infused days...

More importantly .. this is how I fell personally about our ACS site .. someone here to send cyber hugs or offer a good thought, and prayer - 24/7. I don't have to get dressed up, or drive somewhere in my car .. all I have to do is sit down .. log in and join in the discussions, fun and support.
