I had a Muga scan and I passed, in other words it is over 50%, the magic #, My pet scan showed improvement, so why don't I feel better, wah, wah, wah! I am so tired, i feel like any type of activity is so much effort, just walking up the stairs. I do feel some pressure on my chest, have been taking it easy, and taking pain killers but nothing helps. Guess this holiday is down the drain, again. I will get my turkey tomorrow and then sleep until Thursday.

    Hang in there, Meena!
There will be happier Thanksgivings, and lots of them. If you're already taking it easy, then take it easier... if you yourself are exhausted, just think of what those treatments are doing to the Beast. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.

    Love,
    Joe and Moopy

6 months of Chemo, including Taxotere/Cytoxan , which is a very tough regimen. I had 6 of them and after 5th did not cook at all and cannot imagine myself fixing a turkey. You will feel better, just rest and sleep and take it easy
    Thinking of you.
    Happy Thanksgiving

You are certainly in my thoughts...because you have shown such courage being on chemo for this long...no wonder you feel shattered. I can't believe you are even thinking of cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

Take care and rest!!! Hugs. Pat

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling like yourself.
I'm glad you are listening to your body and resting. I'm sure it is frustrating but I'm glad you had some good news from your pet scan. Maybe your body hasn't caught up with the results yet. Hugs.

    Hi Meena,
Sorry you aren't feeling better. Let's look forward to 2011 and hope it is better for all of us so that we can do our PA, NJ, DE, MD get together. Just too much happening this time of year. Marlene really wants to see you for your drink. Hugs, Jean

    OF COURSE you still feel
OF COURSE you still feel like crap, lady! It's all that crap that's gone into your body. I'm sure you got some heavy duty chemo but the great thing is that it's working! Keep your spirits up and rest, rest, rest... don't fight it! Some of us feel like we have to go, go, go so we don't look like we're giving in, but when the body is crying out for rest, it's important to do it! Jean's right! I'm looking very forward to that drink and I just know it's gonna happen!

    Oh, Meena...
Treatment is beating up your body (and killing cancer) - and your body is constantly trying to heal and recover! Both happen at the same time - which is what primarily causes the extreme exhaustion you're experiencing.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Kind regards, Susan

You have been and are still going through so much, that it is to be expected that you are tired and wore out. I have no idea how you are feeling, but, I hope that with this outpouring of love and support on here for you, that somehow, it might make you feel just a little bit better.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving and I hope that you can enjoy the day.

Meena, you are a hero and an inspiration to me! You keep going and going and rarely ever complain. With chemo and all your poor body has been through, you are tired and feel like c**p. It is time to vent! Cancer is every despicable word that I know--it robs us of so much. But I know this--it will never rob you of your beautiful essence. It shines through every message. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.
