I had my first chemo yesterday and I know I will see some reddish/pink in my urine from the adriamyacin (sp) but I think that this may be blood as its somewhat chunky?? TMI, I know.
Anyone have this?

I checked on epocrates and discolored urine is a common side effect. See below for common adverse effects of adriamycin. However, if you are not sure, call your doctor. With cytoxan, I had bloody urine and I had to skip it a month as my onc said it can cause a sterile cystitis that can lead to bladder rupture. When in doubt, always call.

Adriamycin Common Reactions
leukopenia
thrombocytopenia
nausea
vomiting
anorexia
diarrhea
mucositis
stomatitis
esophagitis
alopecia
facial flushing
urine discoloration
hyperpigmentation of nailbeds
onycholysis
CHF
hyperuricemia
venous streaking
radiation recall rxn
photosensitivity

Check with your oncol. it's nothing to mess with. Cytoxan caused blood in my urine. Had to go to a urologist, have cat scan of bladder and kidneys, then a bladder scope. All clear just have to heal but it's taking a long time. I've been on over-active bladder meds for over 1 year and every test still shows some blood.

Urine was indeed quite 'pink' for between 48 and 72 hrs (was warned to expect) but I never had any clumps/globs/'thingys'.
