Chen........I am getting ready to mail my ornament to my "secret sister"....now, stupid question..is it a "secret" as to the sender? Mine is going cross country and I want a return address on it.....so I am assuming we do tell "who we are.".....duh here........

And thanks Chen for doing this for all of us......you're so very special!

It is a quandry, that's for
It is a quandry, that's for sure! I had address labels made last year with a made up address~ so that way my cards etc still remained kind of anonymous! LOL I just say Lead With Your Heart! It is nice , when the recipient gets your ornament that they know ( and feel even closer to you!) and can thank you! But Secret is just fine, too! I am simply the Match Maker here~ we live with so many rules and regulations that I don't make any about this!!!!
    Have Fun!

    Question for you
Read how happy you all seem to be. How do you (I) become a secret sister or even just to be in touch more. I feel quite alone as my daughters don't seem to think breast cancer is such the big deal that I do. They tell me it is something private for me to handle and my husband. Thank God for him. I don't know how I would have made it through this ordeal without him. I have a few good friends who have been there also. And I have been in touch with ACS. Thank you and bless you all for your info and friendship.

On the left hand side of
On the left hand side of this page, you will find CSN Email. From there, you can send private emails to anyone whos username you know! When you receive an email, you will get a notification in green telling you so! I will send you an email now! You can respond to it by giving me your name and address if you want to be in the Secret Sister Ornament exchange, and I will make sure you both send and receive an ornament! Welcome aboard! This road can be lonely, especially when our entire family doesn't seem behind us and the emotional toll this takes on us. Happily, you are now surrounded by an amazing, supportive, empathetic group of Kindred Spirits who are walking with you.

I am Claudia, btw, and I live in California!

I'm glad you have found this
I'm glad you have found this website -everyone on here is so helpful and encouraging -it is a place where you can vent, cry, ask questions, be silly, offer encouragement. I'm so sorry that you feel alone & your daughters don't think it's a big deal :( I have 2 daughters also, they are 9 and 2. Today while grocery shopping with me, my 9 yr old pointed out a woman who had a pink tie dyed tee shirt on with the bc ribbon. She then proceeded to run up to the woman & tell her how much she liked her shirt, and that her mom & grandma had breast cancer, and began having a conversation with the lady about her mother's battle with bc as well. It sounds like you have a very loving & supportive husband, which is great. Please keep in touch and keep us updated on how you're doing!
    *hugs*
