How long does the "tiredness" usually last? Two days now and body just want to sleep, rest, eat, nap.

    only 2 days!
Girlfriend what have you completed? Chemo, Rads, surgery?
Anyway, it doesn't matter because anything you have been through to fight this beast is going to take a little longer than 2 days!
Give yourself a break and nap.

usually about 2 days for me. It is cumulative though. I don't know were you are in your treatment. I am assuming chemo?? It will pass sweetheart be kind to your self if you need rest then you need rest let your body tell you what it needs. Take care and pamper yourself. Kay

two days is nothing. Your body and mind are being put through horrible torture right now. Be good to yourself and ask that everyone around you is good to you also.

It'll take time but the "new normal" will come.

    Hi Jean,
I finished my chemo is August and still get tired. Now that we set the clocks back last weekend, it's really kicked my butt. As soon as it gets dark, I feel like I'm done for the day. Last night, we planned to our out to watch Thursday night football. It was rough trying to stay awake during the game. Hugs, Jean

I'm with Jean 0609 .. tired, sluggish all the time ...
then like a rain storm .. you're mind and body begin to heal, slowly .. You just don't wake up 1 day and have your life, or energy back .. it's comes back a little at a time. Frustrating, yes! Be kind to yourself, and try if possible to push yourself on your better days.

Finished chemo on 8/20/09 - and like Jean above, I have good days, and bad .. However, my good days filled with laughter and energy - are more than my down .. lack of energy days.!

    Strength and Courage

    Tired Too
and I have not started anything or had more than the diagnosis. I let mine go for years so I'm not sure what to expect...I cry alot, sleep alot....been exhausted for years and just chalked it up to age and I have severe sleep apnea as well as Diabetes for 3 yrs that is never under control.
I started having pains from my underarm to nipple and thats what it took to get me to see the Doctor. I have to wonder if all this bad health the past few years may be part Cancer?

I had a crying spell today and had to argue with my husand to quit dictating what he thinks I should be doing. If I can get disability from this I am going to move into a small apartment for peace and quiet.

There is such a great support system here..I can't imagine not eing able to come here and read and share....

Best of luck.....Take Naps when you need them, I know I am going too.
